American Idol season eight has produced a whole new slew of different ‘scandalous’ contestants, from ‘Bikini Girl’ to Joanna Pacitti, who has now come under fire.
It seems that American Idol bends their rules when it comes to certain contestants, one of those contestants being the talented Joanna Pacitti.
Pacitti, who has already had a music deal, starred in a production of ‘Annie’, and opened for a show for Sheryl Crow, already ought to be disqualified, according to Idol fanatics – but there’s even more.
According to Star Magazine, she has a connection with two executives at the L.A. offices of 19 Entertainment – the company that produces Idol.
The mag reports: An insider tells Star that Michelle Young and Roger Widynowski have very personal connections to the Idol hopeful, all of which we detail in our can’t miss story. How personal? Well, Joanna has referred to Michelle as her “manager” and “best friend,” and credited Roger with “helping me get where I am today.” Plus, the three of them even lived in the same L.A. apartment complex for several years.
